A rare man-made hybrid with unpredictable outcomes, 'Pink Princess' philodendron has a hefty price tag for stunning color.
Available in store
Close'Pink Princess' Philodendron is a man-made hybrid and is somewhat unpredictable in its coloring. Ideally, this houseplant will have an even distribution of green with pink variegated leaves, although some leaves may emerge entirely pink or entirely green, so growers put a lot of time and energy into producing a handful of "successful" plants. A tropical vine by nature, 'Pink Princess' generally can climb to two feet in height with support. Higher humidity (through misting or placing the pot in a saucer filled with pebbles and water), lots of indirect light, and deep but infrequent waterings will keep this philodendron happy. Though this variety is not listed specifically as toxic to pets, philodendrons in general should not be ingested by animals or people.
