Peperomia obtusifolias are a mainstay of indoor gardening, providing lush, almost fleshy foliage that can tolerate lower lighting yet thrive in well-lit rooms, and offering a variety of looks in terms of size, structure, and to a degree, colors. 'Obtipan Green' Peperomia, often called Baby Rubber Plant, is a fresh green version with the slightest of red edges on somewhat ovoid leaves. This variety forms an upright mound, more or less a foot tall and wide, and is lovely enough to stand on its own or be paired in a planter with specimens of like needs. That would include higher humidity, a well-lit room to promote growth, and a thorough watering when the surface soil is quite dry. It might be fun to plant a peperomia pot, with three or more different varieties!
