CloseWhile many grasses are grown primarily for their showy summer plumes, some grasses such as 'Burgundy Bunny' dwarf fountain grass add color to the garden as well. Standing about a foot tall and wide, this perennial has green blades with red tips most of the summer, then goes fully red in the fall. Combined with the white plumes that emerge in late summer and last into the fall, 'Burgundy Bunny' adds color and texture to the fall and winter garden. Drought tolerant once established and not a favorite of deer, this dwarf fountain grass does well in xeriscapes as well as in containers.
