It's the trailing, flowing, fine-leafed houseplants that pets seem most attracted to, and unfortunately it's  those that are frequently bad for their health. Not so the Blue Bell Boston Fern! This more compact variety has all the positive attributes of Boston ferns, and that includes the fact that it is pet-friendly. If you can hang it up or place it on a raised stand, all the better to show off this fern's dense, arching fronds. Mist the fronds often, place the plant away from heater vents and direct sunlight, water thoroughly when the top soil begins to dry, and the Blue Bell Fern will be a happy camper.
