CloseVariegated Dwarf Mat Rush is a unique grass-like perennial with long thin green blades edged in white with white centers, creating a beautiful pale green and white mound about two to three feet tall and wide. Lomandra is surprisingly forgiving of soil types as long as it is well-draining, especially during the colder months. This specimen is also flexible when it comes to the amount of water it receives, becoming drought tolerant when established, but able to handle regular irrigation. The overall look of Variegated Dwarf Mat Rush would make it an exceptional addition to coastal gardens due to its tolerance to salt.
