Wax Leaf Privets are wonderful topiary subjects, as this 3-ball specimen shows. Periodic pruning is needed to maintain this formal shape.
Available in store
CloseOne point that should be remembered about the Waxleaf Privet is that this evergreen shrub can reach eight to ten feet tall and four to six feet wide if unsheared. That makes this 3-ball topiary even more stunning, as periodic work is required to maintain the shape year-round. Ordinarily, this ligustrum will bear clusters of small white flowers from late spring into summer, but shearing will most likely remove most flowers. An excellent specimen for large containers and formal gardens, this 3-ball topiary will keep its good looks year-round.
