Leptinella 'Platt's Black'

Brass Buttons is a low-growing, fern-like ground cover with unique bronzy-black foliage, well suited to shade gardens or morning-sun exposures. Though usually winter-hardy in the Pacific NW, it may thin out or become straggly in harsher weather. Simply cut it back and it will fill out once spring arrives. Brass Buttons trails nicely in hanging baskets or container planters, and provides an interesting textural contrast.
