CloseBy definition, "flambe" denotes or characterizes a red copper-based porcelain glaze with purple streaks, or, it means to cover a food with liquor and set it ablaze briefly. Either definition is apt for 'Peach Flambe' coral bells, as this petite variety takes on glowing peach/red colors in the spring, then gradually transforms to more plum to purple colors in the fall. This coral bells is well suited for shady garden spots though it can handle morning or all-day dappled sun with ease. Growers consider 'Peach Flambe' semi-evergreen, though it is hardy down to -25 degrees, and is an excellent choice for year-round interest.
