CloseHebes come in a wide variety of colors and leaf types, but Hebe 'Karo Golden Esk' is perhaps the most unique of them all. Its vibrant green leaves are so small and grow so tightly together, this small shrub resembles a conifer. Like most other hebes, 'Karo Golden Esk' has summer blooms, but the white flowers are borne on old wood, and often aren't visible. Grown primarily for its bright green to golden foliage, this variety is a stand out in container planters and hanging baskets, as well as in sunny borders and mass plantings.
