CloseGeraniums are known to thrive in warm, sunny climates and frankly grow like weeds in some parts of the country. Here in the Paciific NW, zonal geraniums are a tried and true favorite for providing bright, bold color from late spring right up until fall freeze. 'Rocky Mountain Orange' zonal geranium adds true orange color to container planters, hanging baskets, borders, or mass plantings (think low, informal hedge) as long as it gets enough sun and has good drainage. Topping out around 18 inches tall and spreading about as wide, this variety will sport sturdy stems of bright orange blooms - deadheading will keep the plants looking tidy and will encourage more flowers.
