Close'Johnson's Blue Geranium,' aka Cranesbill, is a low-maintenance perennial ground cover that forms dense, spreading mounds of deeply cut green leaves, topped by true blue flowers in the summer. Drought tolerant once established, 'Johnson's Blue' does well on slopes, in rock gardens, along borders, and container planters. This variety dies back in the winter, and old foliage may be removed before new leaves emerge in the spring.
