An upright tender perennial, 'Windchimes' fuchsia will bloom profusely throughout the summer and into the fall.

CloseThough many fuchsias are tender perennials and die in our Pacific NW winters, we consider them well worth it for enlivening summer shade gardens with their profuse blooms. 'Windchimes' is an upright, compact variety forming a mound less than a foot tall and wide, and the flowers often cover the green foliage. Deadheading can be a tedious job, but it will promote even more flowers and a longer blooming period. Due to its tidy shape, 'Windchimes' will partner nicely with other summer annuals in container planters and hanging baskets. It will also add a pop of color to shady borders in front of hostas, brunnera, or ferns.
