'Chillopo' euonymus is a tough, fast-growing evergreen shrub and is an excellent subject for topiary as this cone-shaped specimen proves. Normally, we state that a plant is drought-tolerant once established, with the understanding that we mean in the ground. Even in a large container, this euonymus can handle a missed watering and actually performs better with underwatering than overwatering. Full sun will bring out the brightest colors and periodic pruning will keep 'Chillopo' at a manageable size.
