CloseWallflowers are a great early spring perennial in areas with milder winters (zone 7). 'Apricot Twist' Wallflower, also known as Shrubby Wallflower, has denser branches, providing a much fuller look. Fragrant orange blooms stand above the foliage, opening in the spring and continuing into the early summer. Once established, wallflowers become quite drought tolerant, suitable for rock gardens and other dry areas.
