A beautiful evergreen shrub with olive green leaves edged in golden yellow and a great alternative to ho-hum laurel hedges.

Close'Olive Martini' Elaeagnus is one of those tough to pronounce/remember names, but don't let that discourage you from seeking it out. This evergreen shrub has really beautiful variegated foliage that emerges as a matte green with cream edges in spring, and transforms to a shimmery gray-green the rest of the year. 'Olive Martini' is perfect as an unusual privacy barrier, hedge, or specimen, reportedly reaching 10 - 15 feet high and wide at maturity in warmer climates, but more likely topping out at 10 feet here in the Pacific NW.
