Individually, Coneflowers and Black-eyed Susans are real attention-getters in the summer garden, so when you put them together in one plant, all we can say is WOW. Summer Sunchaser' Echibeckia produces massive flowers with dark brown eyes, a dark orange inner rim, and sunny yellow petals on stems that are almost three feet tall. This variety will produce long lasting cut flowers that will keep on blooming right up until freeze, attracting birds, bees, and other beneficial insects. An excellent choice for those drier parts of the garden that get all-day sun, 'Summer Sunchaser' also does well in borders, container planters, and cut-flower gardens.
