Splashes of cream, burgundy and pink on large light green leaves draw the eye, making this an excellent "thriller" for container planters or hanging baskets.

Close'Kong Mosaic' coleus is remarkable enough for the often dramatic arrangement (or lack of) of foliar color, but the sheer size and texture of the individual leaves make this a standout in the summer shade garden. With its range of colors from creamy white to red and almost black, 'Kong Mosaic' coleus can be paired with just about any other shade-loving plants in baskets, container planters, or along garden borders. For coleus lovers, consider growing this specimen in a container planter that can be brought inside during the cold months of fall and winter. The Kong series of coleus top out around 20 inches tall and almost as wide, so it would be quite the statement plant indoors. One other consideration for indoor use is that coleuses are not pet-friendly, so don't let pets chew on the leaves.
