Spider plants are a popular house plant, fast growing, air purifying, pet-friendly, and attractive with narrow variegated leaves. 'Ocean' is a more compact version, forming a mound about a foot high and wide. It too sends out baby spiders and will bloom indoors, given adequate light. Spider plants do well in outdoor planters during the summer months with afternoon shade, but it doesn't like temps below 60 degrees, so bring it indoors in the fall. A well-lit room with a bit of humidity will suit 'Ocean' just fine.
