CloseIt's always fun when we get a shipment of plants into the nursery, and every once in a while, one will grab our attention due to its unique look, texture, or in the case of Double Flowered Chamomile, it's clean, wonderful fragrance. The feathery green foliage stays low, four to eight inches tall, and spreads 12 to 18 inches. 'Flore Pleno' can handle light foot traffic and has even been suggested as a lawn substitute. Mow or shear the plants to two inches after the double white flowers appear in summer to keep the foliage tidy. As a bonus, flowers may be harvested and dried for tea. This evergreen perennial is beautiful in sunny borders, container planters, and hanging baskets as well.
