Close'Golden Mop Threadbranch Cypress' is an eye-catching evergreen with a somewhat unruly mop of golden yellow, cord-like foliage. Sometimes referred to as a Sawara cypress, 'Golden Mop' is a dwarf compared to some of its cousins, possibly growing to eight feet tall and wide at maturity. Many sources indicate that this particular variety will take up to 10 years to reach two to three feet in height and width, but all agree that 'Golden Mop' is at its brightest and most beautiful when grown in full sun. Consider growing this intriguing conifer in container planters or in borders.
