Purple Flash' ornamental peppers have literally stopped customers in their tracks when roaming through the nursery. Its nearly black foliage with purple blooms is a wonderful addition to summer planters that need a pick-me-up, or as a splash of late season color for fall/winter baskets. Too tender to survive Pacific NW frosts, 'Purple Flash' will die when we get a freeze, but it's definitely worth popping this eye-catching pepper into the garden. FYI, the peppers are technically edible, but extremely hot.
