CloseGardeners would be hard-pressed to find true orange Million Bells, but we think this 'Hula Orange' calibrachoa opens the door to a more colorful palette with shades of peach and red with a hint of orange in every single bloom. Bees and hummingbirds love these trumpet-shaped flowers that spill beautifully over the edges of container planters and hanging baskets, or spread nicely in borders. Add bright yellows for a warm, sunny look, and add grasses such as Orange Sedge or Acorus for height. Calibrachoas look their best when given ample sun, regular water and fertilizer, and maybe a light haircut in mid- to late summer to keep those flowers coming right up until freeze.
