CloseAptly nicknamed Million Bells, calibrachoa produce masses of mini-petunia shaped flowers from late spring into the fall. 'Aloha Kona Honeycomb' is a fairly new addition to these indispensable, versatile bloomers, providing the warm hues of summer with bright yellow petals veined in red. Spreading 12 to 18 inches wide, but staying less than a foot tall, this variety does well planted in hanging baskets, container planters, or along borders where it can get lots of sun. Calibrachoas look their best when watered and fertilized regularly, and will push out new growth if given a light haircut in late summer.
