'Honeycomb' Blue Grama Grass is unusual in that its seed heads are horizontal rather than vertical, resembling fluttery eyelashes as they move in the wind. This particular variety is compact for a grass, standing 24 to 30 inches tall and spreading 18 to 24 inches wide. Drought tolerant once established, 'Honeycomb' does best in full sun and well-draining soil, making it a wonderful option for drier spots in the garden as well as container planters and hanging baskets.
