CloseWhen those unfamiliar with Corkscrew Albuca first lay eyes on this houseplant, the reactions are often delight, astonishment, and, sometimes, "is it real?" Frizzle Sizzle' Albuca does look like something that Dr. Seuss may have dreamed up, and it's even more surreal when yellow flower stalks emerge in the winter. And yes, we have had these cuties bloom around Thanksgiving and Christmas. The tightly curled leaves may grow eight to twelve inches tall and about eight inches wide at maturity, so they're perfectly at home in pots by themselves or planted with other indoor specimens that prefer to dry out between waterings. Give 'Frizzle Sizzle' albuca lots of light; south and west-facing windows are ideal.
