'Kaleidoscope' Abelia provides year-round good looks, with variegated leaves changing color with the seasons. Bright yellow and lime green in the the spring, this variety's foliage deepens to a golden yellow during the summer before taking on red and orange hues in the fall. Fragrant white flowers bloom from late summer into the fall. 'Kaleidoscope' Abelia matures into a rounded shrub, two to three feet tall and three to four feet wide, and works well in large container planters, in borders, as a foundation plant, or an informal hedge. Drought tolerant once established, this abelia can handle high heat.
