Close'Homestead Purple' Verbena is a reliable perennial ground cover, often evergreen in mild winters. Trailing up to three feet, 'Homestead Purple' verbena drapes beautifully over retaining walls or hanging baskets, and is an excellent ground cover in areas that tend to have poor soil. It is drought tolerant once established, and is generally considered a low-maintenance ground cover. Deep purple flowers bloom from late spring throughout the summer.
