CloseWhat can we say about Moon Frost Canadian Hemlock except that it is absolutely unique? Growing slowly to two to three feet tall and wide in the first 10 years, it apparently gains momentum in later years and might even reach a maximum height of six feet. New growth is white while the older foliage darkens only a bit, resulting in an overall white coloration. Younger plants may take on a pinkish tinge when the temperatures drop. This hemlock can handle a bit of shade, and is an excellent addition to container planters, hanging baskets, rock gardens and borders.
