Arguably one of the tastiest June-bearing strawberries in the Pacific NW. Its short window makes this a great one to grow at home.
Available in store
CloseHood strawberries are one of the most popular strawberries in the Pacific NW, producing deep red, super sweet berries early in the season for only two to three weeks. Easy to grow in the ground or in container planters, consider mulching the plants to suppress weeds and deter slugs. Although strawberries will tolerate some shade, they are all the sweeter for getting as much sun as possible.
