Stock, like snapdragons, prefer the cool of spring and fall, and tend to cease blooming when temps exceed 80 degrees. 'Midget Mix' will add height and fragrance to early spring baskets and container planters, with 10 to 12 inch tall columnar spikes of violet, red, lavender, or white double flowers. Though stock doesn't like the heat, it blooms best in the full sun of spring or fall, and deer don't like the clove-scented flowers.
