String of Pearls sells out as fast as we get it in. Easy care, forgiving of neglect, and so fun to watch grow and flower!

Mother Nature knew what she was doing when she made String of Pearls. A succulent native to Africa, those little pearls give this plant the maximum capacity to store moisture, but that very shape also reduces the leaf area that can absorb sunlight. To counteract that, each "pearl" has a narrow sliver through which additional sunlight can penetrate; it makes each segment look like a pea that can be split. So clever a plant, so fun to grow!
