There is a multitude of Hen and Chicks varieties available for the home garden, and each has its own distinct "look." The 'SuperSemp' series of succulents boast larger than average, geometrically perfect rosettes, usually five to eight inches across and two to eight inches high. 'SuperSemp Jade' is tinged burgundy at the bases of the leaves with jade green tips, making it an eye-catching centerpiece for succulent pots (hanging or otherwise) as well as an attractive ground cover in xeriscapes and rock gardens. Drought tolerant once established, sempervivums do need to be watered regularly when first planted.
