Sedum experts will tell you that Sedum morganianum 'Burrito' and Sedum morganianum (Donkey's Tail) are simply not the same thing. 'Burrito,' or Little Donkey's/Burro's Tail, has rounder, shorter leaves than Donkey's Tail and apparently is the result of hybridization, having never been found in the wild. That said, Little Donkey's Tail is a fun trailing houseplant for those who have very well-lit rooms (south and west facing windows are ideal) and may forget to water their houseplants periodically. These densely packed, plump, rounded leaves grow on stems that can reach three to four feet long. Tuck broken stems or even leaves back into the pot and watch them root and form new tails. If curious pets decide to taste 'Burrito' they should have no ill-effects, but for the sake of the plant, consider hanging it out of harm's way.
