An indoor-outdoor succulent, thriving in the summer sun but may succumb to the freezing temperatures of winter.
Available in store
CloseNicknamed Pink Jelly Bean, this sedum is only about six inches tall, with jelly bean-shaped leaves ranging in color from pale green to deep pink. Its other nickname, Pink Stonecrop, refers to the fact that it can usually grow where only stones will grow, i.e. sunny, dry soil with a dearth of regular water. 'Aurora' sedum can spread two to three feet wide, given the right conditions, and will need protection from frost during the winter. Planted in a pot, Pink Stonecrop is easy to bring indoors when the temps drop down into the 20s and 30s, or moved into a sheltered spot in the winter garden. It's a fun addition to succulent planters, adding a bit of height while also draping over the edges.
