When customers come to the nursery in the dead of winter, Angelina Stonecrop is one of the few sedums that is still looking good. Normally a chartreuse green when growing in full sun, Angelina's needle-like foliage takes on some reddish tones in the fall. Bees seek out the small yellow flower clusters in the summer, and we have seen butterflies investigating them as well. A favorite in container planters and hanging baskets, Angelina stonecrop does well in sunny, dry areas of the garden. It roots fairly easily, so don't be surprised if you see little Angelinas appearing below hanging baskets, where pieces may have broken off.
