Close'Touran Deep Red' saxifrage holds its own as a long-blooming, evergreen spot of color for spring and early summer gardens. Saxifrage tends to look its best when planted in dappled sun, or with a bit of shade at the hottest time of the day, and depends upon regular watering in the full sun. This variety blooms a bit later than 'Alpino Early' saxifrage and maintains a dense, compact mound of foliage year-round, about four to eight inches tall and up to 10 inches wide. 'Touran Deep Red' saxifrage will catch the eye when planted along borders or in container planters and hanging baskets.
