CloseSansevieria 'Zeylanica' is known as Bowstring Hemp, but it's so similar in looks and growth to other sansevierias, you'll often find it lumped in as a Snake Plant or Mother-in-Law's Tongue. 'Zeylanica' has the characteristic broad, sword-like leaves with wavy horizontal bands of grayish green. It prefers a well-lighted room, but can handle low-light environments and occasional missed waterings. And like its cousins, this sansevieria is mildly toxic to pets and humans.
