Sage is one of those herbs that many people associate with turkey stuffing and/or sausages, but have no idea how beautiful a plant it is. 'White Edged' is especially striking in container planters and the garden, with its clean white margins and beautiful purple-rose flowers in the summer. Although technically a perennial, it will often winter over, looking a bit worse for wear. Simply cut it back in the fall, and harvest leaves throughout the growing season for culinary use.
