Close'Little Goldstar' Black-eyed Susan is such a cheerful, prolific bloomer, we love the fact that this compact rudbeckia is also tough and reliable. Black-eyed star-burst like yellow flowers cover the neat foliage from mid-summer up into the fall. Not as tall as some other rudbeckias, 'Little Goldstar' grows to about a foot tall and wide, making it an excellent option for container planters, hanging baskets, and borders. Be sure to give this perennial plenty of sun and if planted in the ground, will become drought-tolerant with time. Not a favorite of deer or rabbits, 'Little Goldstar' will die back in the winter, returning in the spring.
