Pyracantha is a very dependable vine with glossy green leaves that will create an excellent screen all year long. It is a fast grower and will fill a trellis nicely. White blooms in the spring and summer turn into beautiful red berries in the fall that birds love. However, as Victory's nickname, Formosa Firethorn, implies, it does indeed have thorns. Drought tolerant once established, 'Victory' can also handle hot spots in the garden.
