Sedum cauticola 'Coca Cola'

'Coca Cola' stonecrop is a mid-sized succulent, shorter than many of the fully upright varieties but much taller than the finer textured ground cover cultivars. Arching stems of powdery blue, shield-shaped foliage form a low mound six to eight inches tall, and spread up to 14 inches. When given enough sun, the edges of this cultivar's leaves turn pink, adding even more to its charm. Use it as a filler/spiller in hanging baskets or container planters, as it will be much happier in potting soil rather than our dense clay, and is much more likely to survive the winter in well-draining soil. 'Coca Cola' stonecrop does best in full sun (that is, at least 6 hours) and may become floppy if grown in too shady an environment.
