Scabiosa 'Flutter Pure White'

Pincushion flowers have long been a favorite of perennial gardens, blooming from spring right into the fall, and returning year after year. 'Flutter Pure White' scabiosa is an oddity with characteristic flat-bottomed, dome-shaped blooms that happen to be pure white.  This variety's compact size makes it a wonderful addition to container planters and hanging baskets, and is terrific in sunny garden borders or in mass plantings. Drought tolerant once established, 'Flutter Pure White' pincushion flowers attract scores of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, but isn't favored by deer.
