Native to Jamaica, this succulent-like peperomia does best in a well-lit room with fairly high humidity and deep but infrequent watering. 'Ginny' may lose some of its beautiful variegation if kept in too dark a room - consider a grow light when all else fails. Placing the pot on a pebble-filled saucer with water barely covering the pebbles will increase the humidity without having to mist the foliage or invest in an electric humidifier. 'Ginny' is a great addition to mixed planters and is pretty enough to stand on its own.
