A fairly compact English lavender, staying under three feet tall and spreading as wide, without the tendency to flop as some other varieties do.
Product Description
Product Description
English lavender is a go-to evergreen plant for gardeners with ultra-sunny spots that may miss a watering or two, because it is drought tolerant once established, loves the heat, prefers less fertile, well-draining soil, and is not a favorite of deer or rabbits. 'Betty's Blue' is a rather tidy cultivar, staying under three feet tall and wide, with upright flowers on blue-green fragrant foliage. Usually a mid-summer bloomer, this variety may have a second lighter burst of flowers toward the end of summer if the initial flowers are removed. Flower stalks may be used fresh for culinary purposes or dried for sachets and potpourris.
