Hydrangea paniculata 'Spring Sizzle™'

The big panicle hydrangeas are an impressive sight when they start blooming in earnest, but some varieties have a tendency to droop, as the flower heads are so heavy and the stems not so strong. Not true for 'Spring Sizzle™' panicle hydrangea! Forming vase-shaped mounds four to six feet tall and wide, its flowers are borne on rigid stems, keeping them standing upright. White cone-shaped flowers emerge in early summer and quickly take on pink then red shades, adding wonderful color to the summer garden. Consider using 'Spring Sizzle™' as a summer hedge or privacy screen, or the focal point of the summer garden. Please note that panicle hydrangeas love the sun and will produce more blooms when planted in full sun.
