'Citronelle' coral bells almost glows in the shade garden, turning chartreuse in deep shade while taking on more vibrant yellow tones when given some sun in the morning or dappled sun all day.
Product Description
Product Description
Coral bells are something of a workhorse in Pacific NW gardens, adding year-round color and texture where it is often needed most. 'Citronelle' will light up shady borders with its yellow to chartreuse leaves and creamy white flower stalks in late spring and early summer. This variety is fairly compact, growing only six inches tall, but spreading twice as wide, and fares best with shade from the late afternoon sun. No promises that deer will give it a pass, but hummingbirds and pollinators will appreciate the flower stalks.
