ClosePhilodendron 'Florida Ghost' is a totally manmade hybrid and not found in the wild; however, its growing needs are the same as any other tropical plant. Higher humidity, bright but indirect light, and deep but infrequent watering will keep this unusual philodendron happy and healthy. New leaves emerge almost white, then take on yellowish hues before turning a deep green. Depending upon the environment, 'Florida Ghost' can grow to be two to five feet long, bearing heavily lobed leaves. Let this one trail from a hanging basket or provide a support so it can climb, both good options for showing off this beauty while keeping the plant out of the mouths of chewing pets.
