Yellow leaves on houseplants often mean trouble but that's not the case with this 'Golden Violin' philodendron!
Available in store
ClosePhilodendrons come in a range of sizes, shapes, and colors, but this 'Golden Violin' philodendron is something special. A vining variety that can eventually reach six feet tall, 'Golden Violin' has large, violin shaped leaves that emerge a golden yellow, then turn green at maturity. This one definitely needs support in the form of moss poles or a trellis to look and grow its best, so consider putting in some form of support when you first transplant it. As it true of most tropicals, this specimen prefers a well-lit room but no direct sun, a slightly higher humidity than most homes have, and a thorough watering when the top inch of soil is dry. Please keep chewing pets away from 'Golden Violin' as it could make them sick and the plant won't be happy either!
