Variegated Baby Rubber Plant, also known as Pepper Face, performs well as a house plant on its own or in a planter with other varieties with similar needs. What does that mean? A well-lit room, for one, higher humidity (bathroom or kitchen), and no soggy feet. Planted with an Areca Palm for height and a pothos or a creeping fig as trailers, you'll have a happy combination. If your Pepper Face plant starts to look like its all-green cousin, it probably needs more light. This peperomia forms a neat, rounded shape, but can do double duty as a sort of trailer if planted on the edge of a pot. Wiping down the leaves periodically will only add to this plants good looks and health.
