Close‘Happy Bean’ Peperomia is more succulent like than some of its cousins, but they all have similar growing needs, and thus combine well in planters. Long, fleshy green-bean like leaves grow in whorls around a tall stem that can reach six to eight inches tall. This Peperomia grows best in well-lit rooms but with no direct sun. It can handle lower light, it just won’t put out much new growth. Water deeply only when the top inch of soil is dry, and mist periodically. Although not harmful to pets, the plant will suffer greatly if chewed by fur friends.
